The 4-Hour Workweek: Week 2

So the second part of D.E.A.L is Elimination. I’ll be honest this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, but I see this as a challenge that I must overtake. For those that didn’t read the first part to book I wrote the four hour workweek: week one

So What is the Elimination all about?…well I am going to put it simple words what I’ve gotten from it.

Well there are better options now for the NR(new rich), I found this hard to believe at first but I see it now: It’s possible to accomplish more by doing less and its mandatory to enter into the elimination mode.

How does all this work?

The is to free time to do what you want to do by increasing your income. This seems silly doesn’t it? How could anyone make more money doing less work?

You have to understand that if you are going to do something well it better be an important task, and because something requires to much time, it doesn’t necessarily mean its important.

What you do is way more important than how you do it. This is where that 80/20 rules comes into place and a lot of already know this but fail to apply it, I was one of those people.

We all should know that 80% of the outgoing results from 20% of the ingoing.

I got two important questions that helped me define my business and personal life from the book.

  • Which 20% of sources cause 80% of your problems and unhappiness?
  • Which 20% of sources result in 80% of your desired outcomes and happiness?

I took some time answering these questions, because like I said earlier this is the hardest step of the book for me.

If you select and do less you will be more productive. Just focus on whats more important and forget the rest.

So if you take these few tips from the master of the 4HWW Tim Ferriss you can certainly free some time to do what you want to start doing. If you want to really start applying these steps to you business or life. I recommend you get his book if you haven’t yet. He goes into more detail about applying each step. If you have taken the tips from time I want to hear your success story please leave a comment. Thanks!

How to prepare for February?

So over the past few days I have not been blogging much, I just have not really had anything exciting to talk about so I didn’t want to wast my readers time with non-sense.

I think this might be of some help to people that are planning to have a better year or better said a better month. Today I was looking back at what I have done over the past month and I start to think huh? I want to do better next month I don’t want to miss one day of blogging or interacting with the blogesphere. Here are the things I want to do different in February:

  • Post 3 articles a week minimum to my blog.
  • Post 2 articles a week at Lifescapeartists.com
  • Make $1 dollar from blogging

A lot of you might be saying Wilson what do I care? Right? well this is like a test for me guys and I want to you to help me stay on track this whole year to start making a living from full time blogging so I can teach others to do the same as well. This is what I plan to do:

  • write all day 2000 words a day and post every morning at 8 a.m
  • use twitter and facebook every single day.
  • visit 10 blogs and forums a day related to my niche.
  • leave a comment a day if I see something interesting.
  • start writing good content on my newsletter
  • read a new book
  • network with people in my niche
  • finish the 31DBBB by Darren Rowse

That is my list folks I hope you guys can help me accomplish these goals by holding me accountable. If you have anything to add that could help me accomplish these goal please share it in the comments section. Thank you
