So a few weeks ago I was thinking of what I wanted to get Brittani (girlfriend) for Valentine’s. I will be honest I am not that romantic even though she thinks I am. I always like getting people gifts they will have forever or something they will use a long time. Anyway long story short I knew she wanted the iPhone and I found one on craigslist. Two weeks later I am making a business plan with the guy that sold it to me to a local cleaning service business.

It’s funny how things happen isn’t? I never thought I would find a business partner on craigslist.

Anyhow I wanted to get some feedback and find out how did you find your business partner? Facebook, Myspace, Linkedin, Twitter, what are you using to get connections online?

How to get around Cartagena

Walking- If you want to get the best out of a Cartagena vacation, you can walk around Cartagena’s historic old town; you will really enjoy the beautiful architecture and color of this visit. You will find that most places are walkable.

Bus- You can take the bus around, but it can be tricky because they just wonder around. You need to ask people waiting  for the bus if it can take you to your destination or simply ask the bus driver himself.

Taxi- Taxi’s will take you wherever you want to go in Cartagena, but you will have to pay more than a few dollars.

My last and favorite mode of transportation is Horse and Cart- You can see these waiting for people at La Plaza Bolivar and La Santa Clara Hotel.

Best time to visit Cartagena and get a Cheap Flight

If you ask me: “What’s the best time to visit Cartagena, Wilson?” I would say during the dry season. (November to March) These are all great months to take a Cartagena vacation, if you ask me.

You can find excellent prices on flights if you look at a couple of sites like Kayak.com or Tripadvisor.com. I found that during these months a flight for one person to Cartagena can run you from the low $400′s to mid $500′s.

They have a huge beauty pageant  during Nov 5-12, which has a lot of tourist during this time and beautiful women from all over Colombia. Make sure you enjoy it’s beautiful beaches too. You can visit La Boquilla, Isla Baru, and Playa Blanca are all beautiful Cartagena beaches.
