Secrets of a Presentation Specialist

A couple of days ago I started reading Steve Jobs really interested me because it was related to my old career (Door-to-Door Vacuum Salesman). How about that title.

Yea I use to hate that job and until this day I don’t know how I did it for 3 straight years. I do know it made me the person I am today and so I want to share with you how to become a presentation specialist.

  • You have to deliver a strong statement or story that creates interest.
  • Create a problem
  • Offer a solution to the problem.
  • Show the benefits of your solution.
  • Call to action

A lot of people offer these point in different ways but there really this simplified and simple. If you can do this you have won the first battle, but there is more…

Just like you are thinking right now so is your listener. “Why should I care?” this really is what matters the most and what you should really focus on.

It’s mandatory that you make it clear what it is that you are trying to get across. It should always be plain and clear, avoid using buzzwords and jargon so that your message is understood.

But all of this does not matter without one key ingredient. This is what puts the icing on the cake.

“Passion” Ask yourself. Do I have it? what am I really selling? What you selling is a dream of a better life. Share it with pride.
