The Book with the Best Kept Secret – How To…

…”Think and Grow Rich.”

From time to time, I go back to read my favorite book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.

I don’t know why this is, but it just happens. But the best part about it is that I always learn something new, or not even that, I just think that something new sticks to my brain.

If you’ve ever read this book, you might know what I mean.

Even though this book might be old, you can tell a lot of the new books about self-help and making money are in some ways a regurgitation of Think and Grow Rich(Affiliate Link). Because most of what you read in this book is the true secret of how you can become successful at anything, but more than anything reach wealth beyond your expectations.

In the first chapter of this book the title says “Thoughts are Things” and the story starts with the guy that thought himself into partnership with Thomas Edison. I could go on and tell you the long version, but I rather you read the story yourself. I’ll give you a short version. It’s about a man that wanted to work with Edison; but this man was someone that you would have never thought could have ever become a partner, but with his thoughts, persistence and determination, somehow the opportunity came to him.

It’s a really good inspirational story and it always reminds me that everything that is said in the book is very much true. Even to this day, you hear of things like The Law of Attraction, and The Power of Positive Thinking being used by successful people. I somehow still think that all those books are in someway a byproduct of Napolean Hill’s Book.

Napolean Hill does a great job in this book of telling stories about success and failure and the lessons learned. He shares the best kept secret of successful people and how we can use it ourselves. I don’t think there is a successful person that hasn’t read this book or at least knows the secrets that are explained in “Think and Grow Rich.”

Anytime somebody ask me, “Hey Wilson, what book would you recommend I read?” I say this one. I’ve read many books; but as I’ve said no other book has the content this book has when it comes to success building.

With that, I end this by saying Thank you Napolean Hill for sharing this book with us. I owe much of my success to this book and I would not be doing anything of what I am doing today thanks to the wise words of advice of this book. The secrets that I’ve learned in it, have been applied in the majority of my successes, and the goals achieved have been thanks to these secret, at least that’s what I believe.

If you’ve ever read this book, share what it has taught you. If you have a book that has helped you in your success, share it as well. There is more than just one book out there and I know there are still people who have not read it, but if you’re one of them; in this book you’ll find the secrets to become wealthy.

  1. Great minds think alike! I own a copy of Think and Grow Rich. I’ve actually been listening to the audio version of the book while I’m working online. It really is a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Wilson, thanks for bringing this book to my attention. I just got the Kindle one through your link. Sounds like it’s a lot about changing mind to be rich.

I’d say my favorite so far is “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. It’s a popular one that you may have read already. :) I don’t have 2 dads and I love to be a rich dad and educate my kids about how money works, save, and invest. Doing IM is sort of like buying Assets in my opinion, but not the time-wise. Ideally, it would just run without me and put money in my pocket. Maybe I could make extra income through IM and buy Real Estate and other investments.

So many good books out there, but so little time.

Let us grow rich together! I am a great cheer-leader. :)

  3. Hey Wilson,

Nice write up about TAGR. Great book. I have read and listened to it many times. The whole idea of Definite Major Purpose is huge and I try to live my life by those words.

In the past few months though, I have been inspired by a new book. Well it is an old book actually. Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. I’ve been studying this book daily for a few months and it has totally changed my outlook on personal growth. Very analytical as well so it will convince even some of the critics general personal development literature.

You should check it out. It is a great read.
